StartNow Removal Tool

Please note: We have received reports that the instructions below sometimes fail to completely remove the StartNow toolbar. In response to these reports we have developed a removal tool which will uninstall the StartNow toolbar and remove StartNow from all browsers.

To uninstall the StartNow toolbar from Internet Explorer

Step 1: Open Windows Control Panel, and then:

Step 2: On Windows Vista or Windows 7, go to "Uninstall Programs" under "Programs":

Step 3: Select the StartNow toolbar you wish to uninstall from the list and click "Uninstall":

    

Step 4: Follow the steps of the uninstaller application:

    

To uninstall the StartNow toolbar from Firefox

Step 1: On the Menu Bar, go to "Tools" -> "Addons":

Step 2: Select the StartNow toolbar you wish to uninstall from the Extensions list - then click "Uninstall":

Step 3: When prompted to do so, restart Firefox:
